The course aims to provide delegates with
the practical skills required to carry out
Basic Emergency First Aid within the
working environment.
The course will cover:
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- The recovery position
- Bleeding and dressing of wounds
- Shock, asphyxia (e.g. chocking casualty and other airway disorders)
- The circulatory system, the respiratory system, incident management
- The unconscious and conscious casualty
This course is a Fire Marshal training programme aimed at all staff to ensure that they have a basic knowledge of Fire and Fire extinguishers. It is important that workers have a basic knowledge of Fire and Fire extinguishers to make them aware of the inherent dangers in the workplace so that they will not be a risk to themselves or to their co-workers who work alongside them.
The course will cover:
- Fire awareness in the workplace
- Fire awareness training with the view to the prevention of accidents and avoidance of hazards
- Maintaining a register of personnel who have received such training
